didadmin Danes in Distress Comments Off on Follow-up ~ Spring D-a-T 2014

Once again we had a spectacular Dane-a-Thon with 175 people and 103 dogs in attendance.

The weather was cool (9 degrees) and windy but fortunately without rain and everyone had a GREAT time.

Our thanks go to all who made it possible, including:

Tom Krizsan who donated the venue; Dr. Ken Burgess and staff for veterinary coverage & nail clipping; those who donated food, dog water, Silent Auction Items; participants who took time to get over $7,300 in pledges; Cathy and Dave Payne with Morgan; Sherri Davis from BRB K9 Wrangling and Professional Dog Services for assistance with behavioural questions and one-on-one training throughout the event; the dedicated volunteers who gave up countless hours to organize and setup the event; and last, but certainly not least, all those who took the time to come out and participate in the activities to make it a fun day in spite of the weather.

Pictures of Prize Winners and the gallery of photos are now posted.
