Hi I’m Raven, a truly special 4 year old girl with a heart full of love to give! I am incredibly affectionate with people, forming deep bonds with my chosen human while also happily coexisting with other household members. I’m a champ on a leash, and a car ride enthusiast, always eager to hop in and go on an adventure—I even take my role as a car guardian seriously! While I can initially be protective of my home when new people arrive, I quickly settle down once they’re inside and I know everything is okay. I do have a bit of a possessive streak with certain items around other dogs, and could thrive in a home with a submissive male who I can play with or, alternatively, be perfectly content as the sole recipient of your affection.
I am an absolute sweetheart with people, never showing any possessiveness over my food or toys when it comes to humans. I live for playtime and adore new stuffies! I’m also a model houseguest; not destructive and I have settled into indoor life beautifully. It did take me a couple of months to fully adjust, including a few housetraining accidents initially, but now I’m completely housetrained. I can be a little wary of things coming down towards me but that’s easily accommodated. My past involved being used for breeding, and while my exact living situation was unknown, I’ve been around other dogs of all sizes and cats. I arrived extremely underweight but I have blossomed into a healthy girl. My trust in strangers is remarkable – I hopped into a car with a complete stranger and settled down for a long drive!
Oh and this girl loves the comforts of home; you’ll often find me snuggling on the couch or bed (my preferred spots!), but I will settle on a large dog bed if needed. I’m just waiting for a loving family to call my own, are you the one for me?
