Meet Axel! This handsome boy is looking for a foster or a foster-to-adopt home.

Axel is a is a gentle giant with a loyal and calm temperament. A typical Dane who doesn’t know his size and loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. He’s great at walking on a leash and is crate trained. He loves to sleep in the bed if you let him but also will sleep in his crate. Axel suffers from some form of undiagnosed allergies which cause him to scratch and has resulted in cuts on his ears. A daily dose of Appoquel seems to help his itching but the cause of the problem is still unknown. He is good at taking pills and looks forward to his “treat” time every morning. Axel had been raised in a home with children and other dogs and has always been good with them. He’s a big goofy boy with lots of love to give.
