Apollo

Introducing Apollo! This sweet boy came to us from a high euthanasia shelter in Quebec. Apollo is about 2 years old and intact, to be neutered when he’s at a good weight. Upon arrival to the shelter as a neglected stray Apollo weighed a mere 49kgs (108 lbs). Since he’s been in foster he’s been gaining some much needed weight…slowly but steadily.

Apollo puts the “great” in Great Dane. He is a leaner extraordinaire and his favourite thing in life is to cuddle ~ he craves human affection. He is a sensitive boy, just coming out of his shell to tippy-tap for food and greet people at the door.

Although he was over-the-top excited when cat tested at the shelter he is good with other dogs and his forever home should have a canine companion for him. Because he seeks attention and affection it will likely be very difficult for him to be alone. Apollo has had experience with kids and does well with them. Please note that our policy is 8yrs old+.
